You need a hookup for field work...most brokers are out of Lafayette...Another option is to get your PLM at a school that offers the program and try to get an in-house job.

Could I get a few years experience of field work then find an in-house job without a PLM degree?

I'm planning on going this route through ULL. Even though its not a requirement, a lot of firms are wanting degrees. If anybody has in knowledge of it, I'm curious how PLM grads fare in job placement coming out of school.
