Not sure why people get excited about mock drafts, all it takes is 1 team to fall in love with a player for him to go a lot higher than expected. Tebow is a prime example as no mock or analyst had him in 1st round.


An example for this board is Ridley as many expected him around the 5th because of his numbers and then Pats jumped and took him in 3rd.

tduecen, I completely agree with you. I don't understand why anyone gives a crap about what ESPN "Draft Experts" or Mike Mayock think about the draft. The real thing is, they really don't know what a team is going to do. They could have a good idea, but they really don't know. I don't ever worry about Mock Drafts because usually, they are just done to get people talking. For instance, last year, I don't think anyone had Claiborne going to the Cowboys and especially not going that late, but it happened. You really cannot predict anything after usually the first 2 or 3 picks and usually because you know they will be quarterbacks, besides that, just wait until the draft and see what happens.
