Agreed. Iff the top of my head they had Micah Owings, who went off to play in the MLB transfer in from GT and Shooter Hunt a first round pick come in from UVa.

Transfer rule hurt for sure, but they used to bring in top talent without the help of transferring. Gautreau, Jurries, Aubrey, Giarratano, Bogey, etc. No to mention they'd have guys like Kaplan and Manzella come in on no athletic scholarship and turn into great players.
