Is someone actually advocating that we take a guy that sees an average of about 6 pitches per PA and reaches base 60% of the time out of the leadoff spot?

i think the OP was thinking only about Laird and what might benefit him and didnt take the actual lineup of the whole team into account

Sure, it MIGHT be better for LAIRD to be at leadoff, but he sure as shite wont be better than Sciambra so it doesnt benefit the team as a whole
