My buddy was an AR for this game. He actually went to Jesuit. The head ref clearly knew he messed up with the no-call in the box at the end of the game and knew he blew the game. Winning is winning in soccer regardless of whether or not rules are followed (handballs are often allowed in high level games too). I completely disagree with Jesuit having an alumni as any type of ref, even though he clearly saw Jesuit should have conceded that PK.

It looked like a St. Paul's player spit at the head ref right before the players shook hands following the game. Is that what happened and if so did the refs let it slide or are there repercussions?

Your "buddy" has to be 7 years removed from their highschool to ref. He may have gone to Jesuit, if so it was many years ago. The St. Pauls player who spit at the ref was reported to his athletic director and principal. Naturally, every St. Pauls player was cursing at the ref after the game. Spitting at a ref is a MAJOR VIOLATION and will be treated as so. Anyone know if the spitter was a senior?
