3 out of 4 is probably why he is considering them

Baton Rouge and New Orleans is another planet compared to NLA,so it different enough to get that "new experience". He may be an LSU lean. We just can't take it for granted.

Baseball doing well, basketball on the upswing, outstanding 2013 recruiting class, new OC. So now the negatigers are all up in the 2014 recruiting threads

If that was the case. Then every recruit in the country would be trying to go to Bama. Being from Louisiana is a slap in the face to go to Bama.

I'm sure it doesn't hurt that they've won 3 of 4 BCS CG, but I doubt that's the primary reason. They have been putting more OL in the NFL recently than LSU. they should have 3 OLmen picked in the first 2 rounds this draft. Plus, I think as much as the depth chart helps us with Fournette, it may help them with Robinson. LSU has Pocic and Hawkins as possibe LT's. I think Bama needs one for that class. Just 2 reasons he could be considering them.

Just got off phone with my source, 40 minute conversation btw. Coach leaving Bama is HUGE blow. Basically he was only Bama contact with Cam. They're starting all over.

Thanks for the insight. I knew you WM folks were good for something. Let's just hope yall aren't pulling for TCU opening weekend next year.

You've been reading BuccWild's posts again haven't you.

Bucc speaks the truth. I hope Bama allows us to have Fournette

Yep. Sometimes a recruit wants to stick it in the eye of his home state. If LSU wants them and they go to Bama, then frick them. My opinion only of course.

I'm sorry, but some of you take this way too seriously if you think the primary motivation for a kid wanting to go out of state is to stick it to LSU

People need to understand that when kids think about leaving the state, most of the time its because they're sick and tired of Louisiana. It has nothing to do with not liking LSU. Some kids just want to expeience life elsewhere.
I wasnt a recruit but im still an example. I lived off brightside drive. Can see Tiger Stadium from the front of my neighborhood. Grew up a HUGH LSU fan (still am one). but after a year into LSU, I just wanted to see elsewhere and get awy from home. I ended up transferring. Some of these kids just want to see elsewhere and places like bama, uf, etc are just bonuses (good teams that take them elsewhere).
I was the same. I went to Ole Miss. Still drove back for all the home games. Couldn't go to school in my hometown. However, WM is far from BR. We are a different situation.
