Totally agree, McGrath. Besides my season tickets I will not order tickets through LSU anymore. After sitting in the HIGHEST row at the last Cotton Bowl I will just order through other sites. I will gladly pay a premium for decent seats. To heck with the shitty seats LSU gets!

As far as the Chi-fila bowl, I had no interest after watching our team play after the Alabama loss. I am not a nega-tiger but it was painful to watch!

I went using Stubhub tix, and I am not ashamed of it. I had high sideline tickets, which my wife appreciated more than she would have if we spent triple to get low end-zone.

Most schools lose money on bowls, because they are a racket. The "payout" includes the obligation for the school to buy the allotment from that payout. The ADs & coaches like it because attending a bowl game is an objective show of success. That's why we have such nonsense as the Beef-O-Brady's St Petersburg Bowl, which is played in what is considered the worst MLB stadium (just think of how bad the Trop is for football).

So, we lost some money. We would probably lose money in most SEC tie-in games. In the long run, it's not a big deal. The program will still pull a profit by the end of the year.

THIS.....lsu,in tandem w/ the SEC should be DEMANDING premium seats from ALL the bowl games and NOT settle for the crappiest EZ seats...it's time to DEMAND something back from the bowl admins. I will never order their 2nd rate tickets again !
