Mass Effect Trilogy... (Spoiler Alert, and please don't discuss 3 here)

I'm thinking it might be smartest to just start from scratch on this series. I've forgotten a lot of the story, and I let Kaiden live in ME1. I didn't mean to; I went to the wrong location, thinking I was saving Ashley.
The problem is that one is very, very different from 2, and I don't really want to make the transition back to the old combat style. I play as an adept on 2, but powers suck in 1 if I remember correctly. Is it worth it to just go back and play it?

The combat is one of the worst in any game I've played. Your squad can't do shite
It's still worth it to play again though

A couple of weeks ago I did a 1 thru 3 play through and it was as much fun in each on as it was the first time.

jesus christ. what the frick...do you have absolutely no responsibilities ? I always see you chatting about how you just beat skyrim, oblivion and morrowind during your lunch break

I did that about a month back and I thoroughly enjoyed each game. Rerolling a level 60 character made it a wee bit easy in ME1.

3 sucks.
Never played it.
Beat 1.
Got bored on 2.
KoTOR is better
????
MJ will be posting in here talking about
How he played 1
And has 2, but has to many games and is hooked on Dogma and dark souls
????
Profit

The transition from 1 to 2 was bad (I bought them at the same time and played them back to back). After getting used to 2, the transition back to 1 was even worse.
I've still gone back and done it and it was worth it. It is a really good game and has an epic story.
Also, don't hate on saving Kaiden. I did it my first time too.

I always choose the chick over the dude.

Maybe it's because I was a sniper, but I had no troubles transitioning from 1-3 and then back to 1. All of the games are fun to play through again, even 3. If you don't want to play through the first then I'm sure you can find a site online that explains what happens in the game.

So your opinion means jack shite.
3 was fun, but a little too much of the cutscenes and not enough of actual gameplay.

The best trilogy of this console generation.

All three games were amazing up until the last part of 3, how they threw out all your choices and made them mean nothing was shite.

I've mellowed and realized that the endings were OK, they over-promised but delivered on what was possible.

I was a sniper, and its a fun play through.
I know this sounds stupid, but I didn't even know about tech abilities my first two playthroughs on ME1.

She is annoying in 2 also. Throws a bitch fit because you join cerberus after
1. They save you
2. Are the only ones interested in fighting the collectors/reapers

Kaiden does the same thing, to be fair...
