Question about clips

Someone gave me two clips for my glock 19. the person that gave them to me said they have been sitting in their night stand for about 2.5 years not being used, but they were fully loaded. My queston is will sitting there for two or so years loaded mess up the springs in the clips, ultimately leading to a loading problem?

This isn't going to end well for you unless you substitute the word clip for magazine.

Magazines wear is caused by extended usage, not being stored either loaded or unloaded. There is a difference between a magazine and a clip, using proper terminology is at the heart of experience and knowledge. Perhaps you should turn your sidearm in to your local authorities before you hurt someone.
