Rick Perry wants the Chargers to move to San Antonio

It won't happen for a number of reasons. Number one being Uncle Jerrah markets the Cowboys heavily to the SA market.

Perry has been trying to piss off California for a while now. This is just another step in that plan.

The only thing Rick Perry is good at is trolling the frick out of liberal states. Gotta give him props for that at least.

San Antonio's corporate base is very meh. In Sunbelt cities that's what sells out your stadium, especially in down years. It's one of the reasons every Houston Texans game in the history of the franchise has been a "sellout".

San Antonio/Ausin has a lot of people, but that area doesn't have the huge corporate presence that will eat up most of the seating.

I guess Rick thinks all his attacks on Cali are going to make it possible for him to get elected Governor again?

I don't think it'll work though. Last I checked he was even polling behind potential Dem candidates let alone Repub challengers.
