Not even close. MJ never played with a HOF big man unless you consider Dennis Rodman to be a "big man". Larry Bird easily had the strongest supporting cast among the all-time great players. He had three HOF teammates in their prime (Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Dennis Johnson) for a bulk of his career plus he also had other HOF teammates like Bill Walton, Tiny Archibald and Pete Maravich at various points in his career. Bird easily had the strongest supporting cast ever.

Curious how they all fared/would have w/o Bird. Bird - like Magic - created that synergy and made the players around them so much better.
Magic had a HOFer...on his own, Kareem. And still Kareem was nearing the end toward the Lakers back-to-back titles.
But anyone suggesting Worthy is an all-timer w/o magic is insane.
It must have been nice getting the ball two feet from the rim on every fast break.
The rest of the Lakers were Byron Scott (good straight-up jump shooter from the corner on wide open kick-outs from Magic on fast breaks and that's about it, goggled white boy Rambis, Cooper (great defender, atrocious offensive guy) - AC Green - nice rebounder, not a lot of anything else...Mychael Thompson.
Magic made the music from that orchestra. Worthy is the only player (absent Kareem) who can be talked about as great...and he was a flying to the basket layup machine courtesy of Magic.
