I'm not sure what to think about this. Good, in a way, but then your milk won't get all the yummy flavors of the cereal so you when you go to drink the leftover milk, it will just be like drinking, milk.

I'm the nerd that loves regular milk so much, I make a tall glass of milk to drink on the side while I eat cereal and milk. I usually toss the cereal-flavored one.
