I had my doubts but now I'm convinced this man is a great coach! He went out and hired the best OC he could get. Wether it works out or not he did what had to be done.

I am hopefull that CC will succeed IMHO he is a great OC!!!

Coach Miles did his best . That's all we can ask!

I should never have doubted.

He could be Sean fricking Payton and it wouldn't matter. This is Miles' offense and they're gonna run the offense the way he wants it run.

You people need to understand. This is not an assistant coaches' problem. It's the head coaches' he's the one that does the game plans for offense that hardly ever yield points.

Get ready for more of the same.

Glad you've got the warm and fuzzies for CC...hope he works out as well. If the offense breaks out of the doldrums this year under the new OC, then Miles is responsible and deserves the credit. If it still severly underachieves then Miles is responsible and deserves the blame. Pretty straightforward...

I am more interested in LSU FB being a "truly" great program....and that is the mettle test, not Miles!

But, to that point, had he prepared his team on 1/9/12 and 12/12.........your argument for his greatness would be much stronger.

if he had been able to trust his coordinators, not just the defensive coordinator, and allowed them to run our offense, then he'd be a great coach.

LSU was never a school like Crimson Turdland, where they create a culitic type leadership, so with that in mind, I want Miles to do his job well, then the PROGRAM MAY BECOME GREAT!!

It's all in the eye of the beholder.

What's not, is that Miles has a great record and I could care less bout anything else.

I can't take you serious when you think the basketball team is going to the NCAA.

Miles is a very good coach and a great asset for LSU.

I think he hired the best OC we could hope for and I would like to personally thank him--but I'm sure the millions of dollars we are paying him to make sound decisions makes him feel better than my thanks.

I will still question extremely poor decisions and will appreciate his good coaching. Hopefully, the extremely poor decisions are few.

I do think with a new offensive coach, the offense will finally have a rhythm. Best wishes to CC and welcome aboard.

I honestly didn't believe Les would address the offense's problems with a coaching change. I'm very pleased to discover Miles is not as stubborn as I previously believed him to be.

Gee, only 6 pages of responses???? Y'all are slipping......

But, I agree with the original poster. He is a great coach - maddening at times, but still a great coach.
