This. With a team possibly good enough to make a run for the championship, Miles wanted to maintain continuity. Too late to make such a big change.
He was in a similar situation of trying to "maintain" continuity after winning it all in 2007, and needing to replace Bo P. He tried an experiment that failed, and he moved on to the Chief. I see similarities in the situations, the results, and the solutions. If CC has anywhere near the results as Chief, we are in for some Good Times.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

'11 had wilkerson on the sidelines a a GA which helped tremendously. No former NFL OL as a GA for 2012.
Stud has exactly ONE OL that played for him at Lsu currently in the NFL. That is pathetic. And when you consider that mile system requires a dominate running game - it gets confusing as to whether stud has done a good job with lesser talent or a bad job developing the talent sufficiently. The NFL is not the measuring stick for the job - but it tells you quite a bit about what caliber of a player he is producing.
Meanwhile our chief competition is putting 1-2 first our second rounders into the league each year.
