Just another reason why we should leave those trashy rigs standing.

Capt Al Walker getting shite done.
He has been working on saving the rigs for well over 15 years. Real good guy. Been knowing him a long time even before he took up saving the rigs.
www.toweroflife.com, I think is one of his web sites.

The only reason anyone in DC knows their arse from a hole in the ground is because one is attached. What a bunch of dumb frickers.

I've got another one Al sent me right after spill of them blowing them. Think it may be on his Save the rigs site. Sickening.

How can this not be stopped?

I actually called him and asked what CCA could do to help him. I always enjoy talking with him, provided I'm not too busy. Get him on a roll, you going to be a while. I hope we'll be able to get a moratorium in place soon.

CCA needs to lawyer up and take this to Federal Court. The only way this will be stopped is by a Federal Judge issuing a moratorium until it can be further studied. The study will likely take until after 2016.
Is it the EPA or the DOE ordering that the rigs be destroyed?

Its illegal to destroy living coral in the US, but because its not in some tourist destination it doesnt matter. Anyone know if they are doing this in Florida also?
Posted on 2/9/13 at 3:50 pm to Bullredbf
Florida doesn't let them drill within a 100 miles of there coast.

There are no rigs near the Florida and not many on the Alabama coast.

Are you sure about that?
Florida doesn't have any, but Bama's little stretch of coast and Mobile bay have a lot.

Not many, but Mobile Bay and VK got some. Those are going fast too. Hell I wasted several hours in a tournament last year driving to rigs that were no longer there.

I guess I should've put not many. I knew they were supposedly doing away with them.

Government response... Oil companies must pay a fine for destroying the fish that will to research on solar panels to help eliminate building oil rigs in the future
Oil company response... Price of oil goes up 15 dollar per barrell to offset fines
This country is fugggeeeddd!
