According to whom? I hate recruiting rankings because they are nothing more than guesses.
Example, Chris Davenport was a 5 star. He now plays for Tulane. Morris Claiborne was a 3 star. He was drafted in the 1st round and now plays for the Cowboys.
So yes, it looks good to sign these blue chips but I would rather sign a class worthy of building into a National Championship contender for 4 years rather than just one.
Go ask Kentucky how that is working out this season in basketball.
This is prob going to be Les Miles best recruiting class to date. IMO

Not even close to a valid comparison. Ask UK how that worked out for them the last three basketball seasons.

Mmmmm, I'll go ahead and ask Alabama instead...
Alabama recruiting class rankings, per Rivals:
2013 #1
2012 #1 (won BCSMNC)
2011 #1 (won BCSMNC)
2010 #5
2009 #1 (won BCSMNC)
2008 #1
There may be some correlation there.
