The effort is what is frustrating. Our best player is demps and while I love him he has no problem taking a few plays easy or being very loose with ball.
Its like our whole team follows that instead of hard nosed player
I miss McBride more every year that goes by

Our entire team is that way...it's ok if sometimes your creative players up front do that, but our defensive players were doing that!! I think Jurgy is about to rape half this team. Chandler is up first

I didn't get to watch. However, starting Gonzalez over Bocanegra...must be done.We have to start building for the future But, with no played games with Cameron. Maybe, it shouldn't have been today. Bocanegra has some chemistry with Gonzalez. On to the next one.

That's my point. We can't keep the ball if 2/3 of our midfield is made up of mediocre passing defensive midfielders unless the other guy is Xavi.

This is my whole issue really. These guys want a following and fans but dont want to give the effort to make it happen. I saw nobody out there today that gave a damn outside of howard that did any pushing.
Everytime I get excited and try to get behind these fricks, they do this kind of shite.

I'll TRY to be positive and say the travel + the hotness + no time to practice together created what we saw today. But man, I had been planning on going to Brazil next summer, may not now

Good call. The '02 WC team would mop up these posers.

Not worried about the loss, per se. More worried about the lack of talent in our pool.
This. We haven't been good in awhile, and questionable lineup choices are not the cause.

I wish Stu could get healthy, McBride younger, Thiago Silva and Cheilini American, and Donovan less pussy-like.

Who is out there that we can rely on?
If Bradley wasn't up to par it's no surprise we lost.

One bright spot I took from the whole game was Eddie's play. Really created some good chances for us that unfortunately couldn't be converted. Other than that...frick
ETA: Fabian played well and Howard of course. I don't think that guy has had a bad game in a U.S. jersey ever.

This thread is ate up with the dumbass from posters who never post here.
I thought we played lazy, ineffective kickball, idk what the reasons were. Omar was baptized by fire today and it had to happen by brazil '14, he'll learn from it. I'm not freaking out, sure it sucked to blow that game but it's 1 loss in a hostile country. I agreed 100% with jurgys subs, we should've just started the game with Zusi over jones, we need more creativity midfield. Our best player, Bradley, looked average today.

Bradley looked below average today

Just saw Honduras's second goal. I guess that's all she wrote. Damnit.

I liked jones more than Williams today. And feilhaber needs to be here

This. I would have switched out Edu for Feilhaber in a heartbeat. Klinsy is too stubborn with his, "play like messi every game for your club and aim to be a champion lolololol" stance. Feilhaber looked great against Canada and has always played well for the US. He offers something going forward that we seriously lacked today. Also, did Jozy make a single diagonal run all game?

Altidore didn't seem to do much today. I didn't see his name a lot. This true ?

Can't wait to get Stu and Brek back and in form.
Edit: rough game for sure but I still back Klinsy 100%, we need to come out aggressive against teams that we are superior against, not bunker the first 30 mins...gives us no flow. Bunker Bob ball is over, we plateaued with that, to reach the next level we need to start seeing the pretty football jurgen promised.
