Yeah, music fests are a pretty new idea.

I wonder if it will catch on?

nah doc its brand new. not once did people in the music industry think to get multiple bands in the same venue to play

You are really hilarious.

Face it, there has been a major influx of festivals over the past 5-10 years like no other time.

Woodstock was the blueprint, followed by Watkins Glen and Jazz Fest in the 70s.. Festivals weren't big again until the 90's with Lollapolooza and the Phish festivals. Then Coachella and Bonnaroo emerged in the early aughts, leading to the current overexposure of festivals.
