I've seen it probably a dozen times or more over the years.

Most memorable one was when I was a kid. Redskins leading the Cowboys 9-3 on Monday night football when Joe Theismann takes the snap on fourth down at his own 13 with 3 seconds left. He turned and ran backwards into the endzone. Dallas wasn't expecting it, so he had a second to hold the ball up and mock the Cowboys with it while he did a little dance, then he stepped out of the back of the end zone and spiked it.

Charlie Waters almost knocked him the frick out. Theismann admitted he made a mistake, but it was the Redskins-Cowboys game.

And yeah, it finished 9-5.

You don't see it often, but in the right scenario it's the right move. It was the right move last night.
