I always use the HR block software. My tax situation is usually the following:
- 2 W2s
- 1 1099-MISC
- 1 1099-INT
My deductions/credits/adjustments include mortgage interest, teacher expenses, child care costs, state income tax, student loan interest, child tax credit, donations, and property taxes. Usually enough deductions to itemize. The software is pretty simple. H&R Block in person would charge a lot for my situation, and the software is like $30 with 5 free federal efiles.
