The importance of losing

I still don't understand how any true hornets fan can be cheering for wins at this point. we have absolutely no shot at the playoffs and each win potentially drops us lower in the pecking order for a franchise small forward.
Were so fortunate that big men will be scooped up early in the lottery leaving perfect fits like Muhammed and Porter available for the taking as low as fifth or sixth in the draft.
So go nuggets, twolves and suns. The drafting of a small forward keeps us on track with the Oklahoma City model

I don't see any franchise SF in this draft. I'd rather see improvement with the players we have currently than tanking.

Even if Shabazz and porter arent franchise small forwards the fact that they'll be legitimate starters making less than $5 million a year for the next four years is in itself is good enough reason to lose for them.
With the money you save on a player like that you could open your wallet for a true star center or point guard if one becomes available
Porter for $3 million a year is way better than Rudy Gay for $18 million a year it's a no-brainer

There aren't any franchise players in this draft. Maybe McLemore.
But, I think Porter is a great fit for the Pelicans moving forward and would rather him than Shabazz.

Why do you guys value meaningless wins so much? is your self-esteem really that low?why can't you grasp the big picture... it's obvious that Monty and Dell are not going all out to win every game so why not support our promising play coupled with close losses. It worked like a charm last season.

Well I have 200 reasons. I bet 200 on them to win over 26.5 games this year on a futures bet in Vegas.

Trolling must be fun. I should try it sometime.

This website has become entirely too obsessed with the concept of "trolling" over the last six months or so.
Not every contrary opinion is a troll attempt.

Because I bet we would win more than 26.5 games, is that reason enough to cheer?
