Let me see if I understand this correctly.... the next 5 Mex.{home or away} WC qualifiers, will ALL be broadcast via ESPN or ESPN2, while ALL US away qualifiers are on some third rate, hope you can find it,screwed up internet site ?????
HOW is this even possible ?????????
THIS is why US soccer will REMAIN a second rate attraction.....there's NO excuse for it !!!!!!!

thenry will carry the burden of explaining how television rights work to this Rant simpleton
1. BeIn Sport is an actual channel now on many cable providers.
2. Honduras and other shitty CONCACAF countries own all of the television rights to their home games, including the broadcast rights of the visiting nations. They always hardball broadcast outlets for these rights. ESPN won't pay over their valuation of the rights. ESPN already has rights to all of the US home qualifiers. It's better than pay-per-view or closed circuit TV.

US Soccer had no control over who the other CONCACAF federations sold the rights to.

I am pretty pissed ESPN picked up those shite stains. I can only hope that Twellman's concussions become contagious when he analyzes that game.

I agree with you, bro.
I scoured the earth to find an acceptable solution to this dilemma......
....and then I got DirecTV. Very few people have heard of it. It's a "satellite" that shoots "laser beams" at my "house." And these "laser beams" contain more "soccer" than I can watch.
And every NFL game.
And is infinitely better than Cox in every way imaginable.
And cheaper. Way fricking cheaper.
In summation, frick Cox.

But YOU GUYS this REALLY is a PROBLEM for SOCCER in america.................we're letting the TERRORISTS control our AWAY QUALIFIERS !!!!!!!!!!1!!1!!!!

It's simply that the monopoly in those away countries where the games aren't on espn won't sell the rights to them so whatever local official is getting the payola can get paid by the PPV broadcast that's all
