They had just as many loses as the team that won the BCS CG. Where Baylor was ranked at the time is irrelevant, the ENTIRE schedule should be factored in, this quality of lose component is a BS. Baylor was 4-5, they finished 8-5.

What? First off, you don't get to credit them for their bowl win in this discussion. Second, they still got blown the hell out by an unranked Baylor that finished 7-5.

Sorry but to say that loss is equal to losing a close game to an A&M that finished 10-2 with the Heisman winner is friggin asinine.

KSU was not screwed in any way shape or form this year.

Bama had the tougher schedule this year and their loss was far more excusable than KSU's.

...because of the SECCG. That gave a pretty mediocre schedule a huge bump. Of the six elite SEC teams, Bama had only played two, three after the SECCG. Kansas St could've used the same kind of bump from a CG as well. The difference in schedule quality was the CG.

The lack of a title game hurt their resumes. Same with Okie St, who probably DID have a tougher schedule than Bama, but could've used an extra game to make the difference more emphatic.

I never said that loss was equal, A&M was clearly better than Baylor. I do not judge teams based on "quality" of loss. To me that is friggin assinie. Now the fact they got blown out is far more relevant.

Oh and if we can't count Baylors bowl win, you certainly can't count the Heisman

maybe not, but OSU certainly did.

Not counting the SEC CG, Bama had what, 2 quality wins? LSU and Michigan.

If any team got screwed this year it was Florida. Of the 1 loss teams they had far and away the best SOS.
