Macho?
Where did you get yours?
Thinking about getting one but I have a mid tower and not sure if I can fit that sucker in there.

Yep

Don't remember. I just googled it and bought it from someplace that had it.

It is MASSIVE. It actually just touches the door of my case when I close it.
This pic doesn't really tell you how massive it is. I had to shift the fan on the right up higher because when centered it was sitting on the RAM

I'm jelly I didn't think about a white tower before I built mine in December.
I built mine in a white case. I love it. Kinda has a storm trooper feel to it.
BTW, OP, what is that in your hand in the last picture?

I'm not the OP, but it's an external mixamp for his gaming headset.

I used xspc white tubing with plain ole distilled water.
Kracka, that's a mixamp so I can use my headphones on my xbox/pc

Very nice work.
I just got the Cooler Master Cosmos II case. It makes other cases look...small. I'll have the build up and pics posted in a week or so. I'm going to do a little case modding.

Just getting home to really look at the build. Great job man, you went ahead and purchased a GPU block. I might do it for my next build just don't see myself doing it now. Just cooling the CPU.

I got the block and 7970 together for $380. I sold my vapor-x for $400, so I made a little bit on my video card exchange

I've got the same case... Freakin LOVE IT

my guess would be iamanaddict.com

Just curious, I take it you had to remove the entire case for the video card to install the GPU block? And do you still have to use thermal paste when you put the CPU block on? I imagine you do, just curious if you did and if it was different from conventional cpu fan paste.
Nice build btw.I was going to do water cooling on mine, but the extra money just wasn't worth it, and there really isn't a performance boost.

Yes you put thermal paste. Just like any other block.
The fan and heatsink from the gpu is just unscrewed from the back of the pcb. There is 1 wire to disconnect which is a fan header.

What?
Yes there is. Lol

Whats the significant performance boost?

it gives you the ability to OC your card far past traditional air cooling. it doesnt automatically provide you with a performance boost (other than being a hell of a lot quieter)

I'm already at a stable OC on my new CPU at 4.6ghz. When I add water cooling I hope to hit 5.0 (or higher maybe).
Posted on 1/30/13 at 7:18 pm to VABuckeye
Even if you cant get to 5.0, you will still run far cooler at 4.6 with water than on air. I'm amazed at how cool it keeps my video card. I'm at 1125/1575 and I hit 41C max in 3DMark, om stock cooling that would push probably over 70C
Posted on 1/31/13 at 12:18 am to bluebarracuda
Yeah, 5.0 is a nice round number to brag about although there's no real advantages to it over the typical 4.6-4.8, and Sandy Bridges seem to hit a wall at 4.8 or lower (Ivy Bridges are even worse), where the required voltage to push it higher is just too unsafe/leads to early degradation. But we're talking 24/7 voltages, and there's no reason to do that unless you're folding.
