With 70,000 post to your credit, I would think you could read mine without getting your panties in a wad.
RS is not NFL talent.
If that opinion bothers you, dont look at any draft sites or read about his less than average all-star performances.

Bruh I've forgotten more football than you will ever know. Period. Shep was not some great player that got snubbed by coaches. Which player are you taking carries away from ,to give to Shep?

He should probably have a few more touches running the ball.
You think Jeremy hill is a good RB? He has virtually the same amount of ydgs as SHep, with 40 more carries.
SHep isn't all world, probably will never make more than an NFL practice squad but was underutilized as a runner at LSU and wasn't "bad." He was quite effective but never found his niche here.
His mistake was coming to LSU in the first place.

You seem to be the one with hurt feelings here, Jethro.

Probably not, but he was good enough at LSU to average 7 ypc. I wouldn't call that "bad."

It doesn't bother me. They aren't LSU fans trashing their own..

It's a fact boy. You dont know shite about football. Im sorry that you think Shep deserved carries over Hill, Hilliard , Ware , and Ford, but he didn't.
Posted on 1/26/13 at 10:39 pm to RogerTheShrubber
Also, I never called Shep bad. I said he was a good player , but didnt deserve to have carries over our other backs. If you think Shep deserved carries over Hill, ware, Hilliard ,and Blue( when healthy) it just proves you don't know shite about football.

The person I responded to did say just that.

And whoever is reading to you has shitty translation skills. Have someone else read to you

Really? Seems you're pissy because Shep did in fact say Texas recruits should go to A&m. If he was a Texas recruit , he'd be going to A&M. It's ok boy. You're the village idiot on a few boards on here.

Not exactly what he said but you have a hard time with normal writing.
If I were a Houston area recruit, I would probably be attracted to A&M and their "real offense" as well, if I didn't have an attachment to LSU.

At least I've evolved beyond calling someone "boy" there...alley oop.

it really is amazing how people continue to come out and defend Miles' coaching. No wonder the idiot makes so much money to come in second place. LSU - where offensive talent comes to die.

i still remember miles running him off tackle as a freshmn at washington. iknew his speedy arse was doomed then.on one play he was nearly deheaded.

Miles being a good coach and Shep being good aren't mutually exclusive.

He ran better off tackle than some people remember. Some people also forget him being elusive in traffic. Problem is, we didn't see much of him hte past two years and memories fade.
LINK
He was a guy with some limitations, and not a good fit for Miles offense. He showed some flashes early, then they moved him to WR.

You know, you seem to throw this around in every thread you're in, at anybody who disagrees with you.
Kindly list these experiences that have garnered you such knowledge to qualify you to say this to any poster on this board.
TIA.

I'll betcha he scored 4 td's in one game when he played for Polk High.

He was given every chance to prove himself and failed. Drops way too many passes.

Different QB's prefer different routes and different receivers. Shep was becoming one of JJ's favorite targets especially on slants. Mett seems to like the intermediate to deep routes run by OBJ and Landry.

At least spell his name right.....

He was getting the short stuff his first couple of years, then everything seemed to move downfeild for him. Just wasn't a fit with his talent.

Even before the season started, it looked as if Mett had developed the closest relationship with OBJ and Landry. I believe Shep was close with JJ and Mathieu but I'm not 100% sure. This sort of stuff happens even in the NFL. A new QB comes in and then all of a sudden, the team's leading WR is no longer the same guy.
