IMO nothing happens to the Bama OL Coach as long as Emmert runs the NCAA.

Miami is expected to hear from the NCAA this week. Someone connected to one of the ex-coaches said he was told the individuals involved would be getting a letter from the NCAA today. The university should also be getting one of their letters. The severity of the sanctions is not really known. These new articles quoting people connected to the coaches suggest the way these coaches and/or the university handled the investigation may not have been above board.
"they will be cited for violating NCAA bylaw 10.1, a broad rule that covers conduct and cooperating with investigations."
Don't expect to hear anything concrete for a while still. Because Miami is a private school, open records laws do not apply. They will not have to divulge anything to the media when they do get the letter. They will have 90 days to file a response. I doubt we hear anything concrete until after that.
In the mean time, this stuff is in the paper every morning, on the local news every night and on the radio all day in Miami. The recruits and their parents will not be able to get away from it.
Here's a good Miami Herald article that discusses some of the issues and time frames.

Whenever the actual letter arrives, Miami's receipt of the notice of allegations will usher in the start of the sanctions phase. And that could take months - meaning actual penalties may not be handed down until this summer, or later.
Typically, schools and individuals named in the notice of allegations have 90 days to file a response to the NCAA's findings, all of which would be reviewed by the committee on infractions - which operates separately from the NCAA's investigative arm.

no they are only receiving a letter from the NCAA. they then will have to go before the infractions committee before any decision is made. I remember it was like 4 months after the hearing that USC got their punishment.

We have been helping the NCAA all the way since WE self reported the incident 2.5 years ago.
USC did not help out. Hammer us and you will never get another school to help you ever again in an investigation. They are punishing the adults who screwed up.
Plus the NCAA is on shakey ground close to the edge....hopefully they know the ledge!
