crassus and ceaser just had more might. it was pretty clear that in a 1-1 battle they wouldnt have taken spartacus or gannicus.
btw, anyone find it funny that the 2 gay dudes lived? all 3 of the badass gladiators died but the gay dudes lived. must have been gay writers.

This. Ceasar couldn't beat Gannicus 1 on 1. He hid behind his army and they boxed him in.

I found that funny too. I guess now the slaves can't procreate unless Gannicus's hottie and Laeta are knocked up.
