I think he's going to make it.
Good for him.
Good for him.

'I would have given everything'' to be on the field, Mathieu said. ''That was a freshman on that blitz and I would have been a junior so I would have known that play was coming. I would have been able to do something.
Literally makes me sick to my stomach.

I hope he gets some interviews and makes good on his statements about trying to do things the right way. This is his last chance for a football future.
Good luck to him.
Good luck to him.

But he wouldn't give up one thing.

Nothing against TM7, but why is he at practice for a senior bowl when he's not part of a college football program nor is he a senior if he was. Why can't I attend?

he is there to meet NFL coaches and executives

Amen brother. Gotta figure out your life's priorities. Can't imagine how much dough that decision must have cost him. Certainly with this year's Heisman contenders, a near repeat performance from his 2012 year would have likely locked him up for "the pose" trophy.

Manziel broke SEC records this year......as a damn freshman.

patrick peterson was there when he was a jr.

Still pulling for him. Did a lot of harm this past year, but always sucks to see somebody completely throw their life away.

While I root for him and hope he makes it, he didn't do everything to "be on that field". All he had to do was put down the blunt. This is not a jab at Mills but TM would have sniffed out that screen for sure.
Hopefully his actions will mimic his words this time around regarding the changes he seems to have made.

That is a blatant lie. He wouldn't give up his life style or he would have been there..

I'm pulling for him as well but it's not about saying the right thing it's about doing the right thing. And hopefully he has kicked that habit of his for good.

this....bigtime. cripes, Trindon Holliday made it and TM7 has many more skillsets than he does (except pass rushing). a ton of shite is thrown at Miles on this board and some of it is justified, but the people who tried to mitigate the effects of the loss of TM7 on this years squad really didn't have a clue. TM7 changed almost every game in '11 and with his burning desire/swag I doubt it would have been any different in '12. the loss of Mo, Brooks and then TM7 was more than even Chavis could overcome. I wish the kid good luck and godspeed...but I will also be left with the empty feeling of what could have been. seaux it geaux's.
lock and load...let's get it on.

If hes on the team this year I think we beat Alabama and games like Ole Miss and Arkansas arent that close cause he makes a big play. The Florida game was just ugh, maybe he gives the big play we needed.
With TM7 we at least I believe play in the SECCG. Without we lose the Chicken Bowl!

Because you have literally zero shot of making the nfl.
It's sucks the guy screwed up here, now move on. What do y'all want hime to do, go live in a crackers house?
eta: auto correct changed crack to crackers. I left it because it's funny.
