I didnt know wardens had the power to transfer prisoners
That was my biggest question and if they do, the ability to do that all in one day?
And how are Kevin Bacon and nerdy FBI guy the only two at the scene? Where is SWAT? Where are the choppers? How do you lose a fricking helicopter? Sadly this was probably the best episode though

All that is true, but how about once they triangulated the lawyers cell phone to Richmond, Va.; their first thought was-"we have a convicted serial killer who escaped, lets not take a helicopter that is obviously faster, lets hop in the GMC Suburban to travel to get him."
Nevermind the fact that he has yet to even be questioned about the murder he committed in the first episode. Killing the "Taken" girl, just seems to be an afterthought, even though Kevin Bacon found him with the body. But he deserves a transfer within a few weeks because Kevin Bacon broke a few fingers. HELLO!!!

warden 1: i need to get rid of one of my serial killers. you got an empty cell?
warden 2: a serial killer? is it the famous one all over the news?
warden 1: the one and only
warden 2: sure thing. when should we expect him so i can get everything situated?
warden 1: later this afternoon work for you?
warden 2: of course, that's plenty of time. see you soon.

My patience is wearing thing with this show.
Warden's do have to sign transfer authorizations for an inmate to be moved. They typically do no initiate the request but they can. An inmate may request a transfer for a number of reasons. So far, the show is on solid ground expect for the fact that this guy is the most famous serial killer since Jack the Ripper. A transfer of this magnitude would have to be signed off on by at least the Deputy Attorney General.
The warden would not own his own be able to switch video footage. The Marshal's do not transport in marked vehicles. We were never really shown how he got into the attorney's car, but it would be next to impossible.
You would have had to have invovlement from multiple people on multiple levels. That is what pisses me off about the show. Everyone who is not law enforcement are accomplices. Hell, even a third of the cops are involved. It is getting to be too much.
