Healthy Boy Brand Mushroom Flavored Soy Sauce

Recommended to me by a pretty good Thai restaurant in Metairie. The mushrooms add even more glutimates to enrich the flavor.

Can be a little hard to find, I know they have it at Hong Kong Market on the westbank and that Asian market on Williams in Kenner.

low sodium Kikomons and get some sesame seed oil to, a little goes a long way.

Kimlan is my fav, much more complex than Kikoman imho. And the brand found in many of Nawlins better Chinese joints.

Pantai also makes some decent dark, lite, or sweet soy sauces..also make a great sweet dipping sauce for egg rolls.

If in BR, visit Vinh Phat, they have an entire isle of varying soy sauces from around the globe.
