I usually don't use it, unless it's raining. The whole thing, hammock and fly, pack up in a bag the size of a half loaf of bread. Mine stays in my truck. The mosquito net and the way the entrance seals up keep all the bugs out. I slept in mine with my 3 yr old daughter on my chest for a couple nights and slept fine. I actually sleep better in my hammock than in my $2000 bed at home.
