No one thinks it's wrong to "doubt" a team, but that's not what you're doing. You've consistently said how terrible the Caps are, and even as you try and reform your position and move the goalposts for about the billionth time this season, you still call the Caps a "pimple on the Pen's arse". Yeah, that's just "doubt".
Points earned since the Caps fell to last place in the NHL standings (top three in the NHL):
Blackhawks: 54
Penguins: 50
Caps: 45
So, if the Caps are just a pimple on the arse of the Penguins, wouldn't that make the Penguins the same to the Hawks? Or is that different, because it's your team?
BTW - the Caps are guaranteed to win at least 2 of 3 against the Northeast, which was your minimum standard for believing in the Caps. They've already gone 2-0 in that stretch, once again exceeding a prediction of yours.

I call bullshite on this, I said the Caps sucked at the same time you were bitching about them. I made a prediction on a 3 game stretch when they were still very iffy and out of it and they had turned around during that stretch.
Other than that I haven't really said anything.

What's wrong with thinking the Pens are significantly better than the Caps? I still think that if they were to meet in the playoffs the Caps would be lucky to win one game in the series.
I don't think any team in the NHL can hang with the Penguins come playoff time with everyone back except the Blackhawks and that would be one helluva series likely going 7 games.

Amazing when we've had half a roster for about the entire 2nd half of the season. Simply amazing what the Pens have been to work around between trades and overcoming Malkin, Crosby, Neal, Letang, and Martin missing 10+ games each all at the same time just about.
