This is good news for the SEC.

Oregon has the capability of knocking off an SEC power in the national title game, probably one of the few teams outside the SEC that has a very legit shot.

If a team doesn't prepare for that offense properly or is caught off guard, it can get difficult to deal with and in reality the longer Kelly has been there the better it's getting.

This eliminates one of the stronger non-SEC contenders in reality.

I absolutely love the people on this board who must have gotten their asses kicked as kids on a daily basis and as grown up have realized that they are still the worthless little fricks they were back then. So now they can sit on forums and try to act all badass and tell people that they posted on the wrong board or how someone elses's thought process is wrong. I hope that being able to sit behind a computer screen and play tough guy on a forum helps you sleep at night next to your blow up doll with duct tape all over it from experimenting a threesome with your gerbil.

Sorry, no.

Chip Kelly's Oregon team was 1-2 against the SEC.

A very mediocre (by SEC standards) Auburn defense held them to under 20 points.

A LSU team that scored 9 points in two games against Alabama hung 40 on them and held them 20 points under their season scoring average.

They did manage to beat a 6-7 Tennessee team.

They might not look like Notre Dame, but they'd fare no better in the end.
