OBer's, has anyone had a problem with tick infestation inside their house. If so, how did you go about taking care of it short of burning the house down? I am trying to get terminix out today, but they may not be able to come until Wednesday. TIA.

This stuff can be bought at a do it yourself pest place, safe once dried, I think it is used by the pest companies, and last 6 months...

Should have got some of these a couple of months ago...

Well, I found them on my shitzu a while back that were full size. So, I had my yard guys spray with talstar and they seemed to go away. Then all of a sudden I started finding them again on my dog but much smaller. I have been treating my dog and they don't seem to be on him anymore. However, Friday night we found a very very small one on my one year old. Then this morning we saw five on our bed and one crawling on the wall.

Get some of those bug bombs. Set them up in every room and go get a hotel for the night.

I use those to kill the bazzillions of spiders on my boat and they work great. Tick can't be any harder to kill than those.

Suspend sc. Works well on all other bugs including spiders and termites so I assume ticks will be DOA also. Not cheap but a little goes a long way. If you get some store it in the A/C, I had some go bad in the heat of a storage shed.

Thanks for the help guys. Terminix just called and told me they can come today. So, I guess I will let the pros handle it.

They look like ticks to me, but I am not 100%. Would bed bugs crawl up a wall?

This is what I use. Cost about $75 at the local do it yourself pest control place. Just mix it with water in a garden sprayer and spray the inside and outside of your house every few months. Very very easy and much cheaper than pest control guys or signing contracts.
