disagree. For a guy who plays in a 3-4 defense, I wouldn't say he has been. Playing that position on that defense is a pretty unselfish thing. The 3-4 is geared to allow the LB's get all the glory. If he landed on a team that plays a 4-3, it would be better for him.

I wouldn't mind dorsey at a vet minimum, he would be a decent DT in this system imo remember he isn't really made out to be a DE in a 3-4 system.
ed reed and tracy porter might just turn the secondary back into '09 form.
especially with tracy porter being injured most of this year due to seizure and concussions, a one year deal for even 8 games would be worth it imo if he played like how he did when he was healthy.

My wish list is a safety.
Reed
Byrd
Goldson
Madieu Williams
hell, I'd even like to add Ronde Barber for some veteran depth to help our young secondary.
And yes I am well aware Byrd and Goldson will likely be staying put.

wonder if we could even trade either of our safeties for draft picks.

we would have to give teams OUR picks just to take them off our hands.

Zero on Reed. Hes almost retired the past 2-3 seasons. If he plays anywhere itll be with the Ravens

LaRon Landry @ FS or SS great tackler and ball hawk.

Laron Landry is absolutely not better than what we have now. He is almost exactly what we have right now.

I keep thinking there won't be much of a market for him. I think we can get him back on the cheap side.

I would like to rent him for a year or two, but I think he'll be back with the Ravens if he doesn't retire.
