Ignore them?
Problem is the "pumupers" throw all of us in the same category.

Its because peoole are upset about the clemson loss. They want to use anything to prove that miles is s horrible coach. They've been looking for shite to throw at the wall since 05.

Not really. Youve been on both sides of the fence recently, you seem to side with the side you think is winning.

Only time will tell if its a "good thing". It's good from a recruiting perspective because the coaches can sell the NFL pipeline to recruits. But it will hurt this season losing so many big time contributors, with many unproven guys stepping into starting roles (espically on the D line).
You do realize every one leaving played as a freshman rt? These guys were unproven and lead us to an sec championship.

Not easy to replace that kind of talent on a team that just lost 3 games.
A program that ranks in the Top 5 among BCS schools for fewest losses in the last 3 yrs can probably handle it.
When we stop having players or this number of players who have this option is when it will become "worrisome" to me.

Fact ... there would be people questioning the talent level because Miles didn't "develop" NFL caliber players.

It will likely be an issue next year. A lot of potential Senior leadership bolting, which will leave a void, specifically on Defense.
Completely disagree. I think this team has been devoid of player leadership for the past few years. If this forces some of the younger guys to step up, will only help. I'm glad the last of JJs perceived buddies are gone.
Case in point: Russell Shepard. Guy whines on twitter after the NC loss, comes back, still can't get on the field. As poorly as our receivers played the first couple of games, that says a lot. So Les Miles drops a f bomb in a press conference defending a player who the media is criticizing for underachieving. Think about that for a second, after the bullshite Shep posted after 1/9. Then after the Clemson loss, same twitter bullshite.
I think it's far more likely that Russell Shepard does not make an NFL roster than having him become a superstar. And from a guy who's supposed to be a senior and a leader, that pretty selfish.

You are too stupid to realize you don't have to pick sides. It is what it is, not what you want it to be. The problem with idiots as yourself is you see this as some game between the fan base. It isn't.
You can see the good and the bad and still be a fan. Wanting the players to stay isn't negative no matter how you want to spin it.

The real question might be this....Is it a bad thing that these guys are at LSU and are actually being drafted
Exactly- if these kids get drafted high, and do good in the pros, new kids will come...don't think they won't notice...

Agree that fans wanting them to stay is not negative, but most (not all) of the better players will leave before exhausting their eligibility (Peterson, Claiborne, etc.).
I don't know if most on here realize that 6 of the 10 early departures are Redshirt Juniors that have stayed for 4 yrs with the program.

On offense, agreed. However, my comment was more directed towards the loss of leadership on defense ... Minter, Logan, Montgomery, Reid ... these were all leaders this year that would have again been leaders next year. Now we need someone like Loston, Freak, Collins, or one of the young LBs to step up and fill that void. The talent is their, but the leadership is unproven.

There is no need to redshirt anymore. Quality players will only be here three years, most likely.
Still, it would be nice for some of your future pro talent to come back. I totally understand why people want a few to return.

True and players leaving for pro ball is not a negative either.
There is a difference between a fan simply wanting a player to stay and a fan using a talented player leaving to go pro as some kinda negative toward the team/coaching staff.

The 6 (mistakenly said 7 in earlier post) redshirt juniors all redshirted prior to the new NFL CBA and that is the primary factor in presently making the redshirt process obsolete for the studs (most, but not all will opt for the NFL after 3 yrs), although there will still be players that will benefit from that extra year.
It would be great for most of the 10 early departures to return, but I think it just one of those "perfect storms".
What a monster recruiting class 2009 was. Already 2 1st rounders (Claiborne and Brockers) and a 2nd rounder (R. Randle) with 6 more RSJRs and 2 possible 4th yr. SRs (Shepard and Downs) that may be drafted. Additionally Akeem Hicks was in that class and was also drafted last yr. Barrow next yr?
The possibility of 13 (12 from LSU) being drafted out of a class of 24 signees, damn strong class.

If by some miracle all 10 get drafted (if it's more than 8 I'll be surprised) then yeah it would be a good sell.
