except their names aren't on these proposals, so i don't know who they are
you're welcome to name them though
i would think if you might be ashamed to put your name on something, don't put it out there
if there's a split, i hope schools that don't support one would forfeit before ever playing a school on the blacklist

The more I read into it, the more I think it's going to pass and I hope the private schools are ready to put together a league in 7 months. I'm sure hiring quality people to run the league won't be an issue, but the logistics of finding sites for major events will be the big problem. Although, 100 schools shouldn't be terribly hard to deal with. Especially considering if you don't do everything to get on board the first year, you may get left out which no school wants to do. The only way a private league could be screwed up is if the catholic schools decide to have a statewide catholic league and leave the 40 or so non catholic private schools to fend for themselves, but some of those schools like Newman should be able to make sure that doesn't happen.

And one other unintended consequence may be the rise of club sports in the state over the high school sport. As of now, even soccer and basektball has been kept in check for the most part, but I could see several club sports just telling the kids to say screw the school leagues now, stick with the club.

heck two of em are friends of mine.. one I wouldn't walk across the street to spit on if he was on fire......
they were the ones leading the charge for play in class years ago.. which is what started this.
it ain't hard to figure out....
the publics know a split will be bad for them - which why they only want a post season split...
again. everyone that thinks the selects couldn't bolt and not miss a beat... better think again.....
when they forced curtis and eca into 2a and 1a.. this has been brewing now it's at a healthy boiling point... and the reason is pretty plain to see.
funny thing is publics and selects feel like they have been shafted... which in many cases both have.
