Bennett did not negotiate in good faith. No matter what Seattle did he was moving the team. The original owner and the city politicians also fricked them over. Bennett even paid the sports radio personalities to calm the people. I remember listening to several shows and the hosts all said they knew Bennett personally (weird) and that he wasn't moving the team.
frick clay Bennett. I thoroughly enjoyed lebron abusing the thunder in the finals. frick Bennett, and frick OKC.

Kings fans can just cheer for the Warriors. It's 1 hour 15 minute drive.
Do you post on realgm? Cause there was a post on there earlier today that said the exact same stupid thing

As much as I like Seattle getting a team back, really, the NBA could probably expand to 32 teams without a problem. If you look at OKC, Memphis, and San Antonio, the NBA has cashed in on having very good teams in areas that don't have other pro teams. Sacramento just happens to be one of the teams that hasn't had a good team in a while.

i would have had 3 LA teams, 2 in the bay area, and one in San Diego or Las Vegas before i put one in Sac...
now what if they had won game 6 or game 7 vs. the Lakers that year?

Ironic that Seattle could be robbing another great fanbase of their team.
i'm just glad those fricking titty baby seattle fans can finally stop whining.

Didnt Howard Shultz receive a ton of bad press for how he dealt with the SuperSonics dilema

Yes, we should have been happy about it and just let a team that we supported for 40 years go without being vocal.
The guy bought the team, lied to the fans about wanting to stay in Seattle and doing everything possible he could to keep it here... all while trying to get it to OKC behind the scenes. ANY fans in our situation would be doing the exact same thing. It's nice to see how much support the Sonics had.

Yes. He was part of the problem as well.
