It's all or nothing, imo. If you aren't gonna vote for the guys you named, then don't vote for others from the same era. IE: I wouldn't vote a Piazza or Bagwell in over Sosa or Bonds because I thought those guys were clean. I think public opinion was that Palmeiro was maybe the one clean guy on the steroid panel... Whoops!
I just don't follow the logic of putting in lesser guys because they are perceived as being clean.
Also, didn't Clemons beat his rap? Or is there some other conclusive evidence he used?
