I don't include 2007 because it's an obvious outlier for Saban at Bama. He came into a crumbling program and kicked some of the best players off the team that wouldn't buy into his system. Something Miles did not have to contend with at LSU. Holding 2007 "against" Saban would be like holding Miles' early records at OSU against him.

2007 for Miles was the year of his greatest success and ultimately his great failures: NOT kicking certain players of the team and developing the talent behind those players properly.

And History since 2007 has proven this to be true.
