Strength and Conditioning Question

Does the team still incorporate martial arts into their S&C program? I thought I read they did several years ago, but not sure if they still do. With footwork/coordination/agility seeming to be somewhat of an issue in some spots (ok, one position), just curious.

they need to incorporate something that allows them to not drop like flies during every drive of every game. Its getting out of hand.

I really think CLM pops in Insanity and they do it and go home

If I hear "wait till Moffitt gets a hold of him" one more time I'll puke.

Not sure if they do, but a primary reason football players incorporate martial arts is to aid in "hand fighting" on the o-line and d-line.

I know they have a 5 am practice / workout every day in the spring that supposed to really suck a big one

Some of our tigers lack the self-discipline and motivation to go to the workouts.

I wish they would do it all the way up to when the season starts. Maybe it will keep some of the younguns from staying out to late and getting into trouble this year. I just wanna start one season without a bunch of bad press!

is there another game this year (besides clemson) where they dropped like flies?
cramping and legit injuries are different things.
is there another D in the country that wouldn't be gassed after 100 plays???!

I've heard recently from a former player that LSU does not ramp down contact in practice near the end of a season like most teams do.

Same thing happened against Florida, and seems like it happened a bunch at least in one other game. I remember it happening a bunch in the past couple years as well.

UF was legit injuries.
usually people that bang on moffitt do the same to miles. so how about we attribute guys dropping like flies due to the offense's inability to stay on the field?

Because cramps happen in the first quarter as well.

Pretty sure the MA are just to keep them from getting their arse whipped in bar parking lots. Seems to have payed off

Exactly.....Moffitt built his name under who? Saban is the answer. He is good but great coaching makes strength look even better. I think T Moffitt is good at what he does, but I've seen nothing that seperates LSU from ohter SEC schools in terms of conditioning...actually, we seem to be the team pushed around.
BUT, at times this year there also was evidence of our big backs having more success as the game went on.
