Saban is better than all other CFB coaches. Not just Miles.

I see a bunch of LSU " fans" talking about how Saban is better than Miles. Lets get it right. Saban is better than every single coach in CFB , in any division. You posters that hate Miles and act like if it wast for Les Miles , we would be beating Bama every year, are dumb. Miles is 3-4 and has the second most wins over Saban. There isn't another CFB coach that LSU could hire that would be better than Saban. Period. So stop with the Saban is better than Miles and start saying Saban is better than every coach. Get over your love affair with Saban. He is never coming back and Miles IS GONNA BE OUR COACH.

whelp. No need to work hard at putting out the best product you can then, right?
It's over. We know we can only be second best so might as well just slack it off and "he's a good family man"
you defeatists make me sick.

So you are going to post the same dumb shite twice. Thanks.
We want an offense that isn't a hindrance. Doesn't have to be great....just better than the shite we have seen for 3-4 yrs.

This article is spot-on about it.

Saban's ambition appears to have no logical end. The way ambition usually works is that you set a goal, you work hard to achieve that goal, and then you experience the satisfaction of having achieved that goal. Saban appears to bypass that final stage entirely. Saban takes no joy in winning, or anything else he's accomplished. I'm not sure he even likes football; it's more that he's consumed by it. It's always the next game, the next recruiting trip, the next season, etc. He exists in an endless cycle of dying to win, which is what makes him great. I admire the fact that, like most successful people, Saban lives more for the process of his work than the end result. NO GLORY BOY, HE. But honestly, what kind of person wants to live like that? What kind of life are you leading when you marry your wife and tell her she gets to spend a whopping two days a year with you?

Last years offense was one of the best weve had.
2002 and 2004 were worse than anything miles has fielded.

All other coaches in CFB don't have Saban in their division and have to play him every year.

With our D? Absolutely

That's why I always laugh at the responses from rantards when I ask them who LSU can bring in that's going to beat Saban every year

What coach do you want?
Also we werent second best last year. We beat bama and actually finished with the best record in football.
I guess youd rather us lose to bama, not win the sec and not play for a bcs championship.

Hiring a new coach does not mean Chavis will be retained.
Chavis is at LSU because of Miles. he had/has plenty of opportunities to go coach somewhere else.

I would have settled for winning the peach bowl.

Anyone with half a brain knows that the national championship, for the last few years and the next few to come, is determined that Nov day when LSU plays Bama. LSU isn't that far behind Bama.

For the record, Mt. Union College Coach Larry Kehres has a 332-24-3 record as HC of the Purple Raiders. Among other accomplishments, he has led Mt. Union to 11 Division III championships since 1993.

Yeah a win would have been nice, but fans were bitching about the game any way and called it meaningless.
