I think what that shows is one coach adapts better than the other.

While I see your point, what, exactly, did Saban have to "adapt" to? Learning how to beg properly?

Had Miles lost The Game of the Century, LSU would have been sent to the Sugar Bowl (and rightfully so). ESPN would have told Miles to go pound sand.

Miles literally had to go win the SECCG for the right to "rematch" a supposed genius coach he had already beaten on his home turf. (Not to mention Miles had already beaten the geniuses Kelley, Holgerson, and later Harley boy). Why can't people just admit that a bias got Saban where he is. A Genius shouldn't need that, no?

That razor thin line, as Baloo sees it, is the very line that separates genius and good at that level.

Again, a "genius" shouldn't need a second chance to beat a "good" coach after losing to him on his home turf.

Saban had to deal with this regarding Georgia when he was here. Didn't stop him.

In any event all this will be null and void when the playoff kicks in

Thank you! I guarantee you that Les Miles is the only coach in America that can get all up in Little Nickys head. I guess some of the guys would rather have someone like Brian Kelly. The past few years we didn't have a QB that we could trust to turn loose. After what happened to Lee do some of you arse hats really think Miles is just gonna throw Mett out in the fire and put him in over his head?

Even if no changes are made in the staff this off-season I will still guarantee our offense will look loads better next season. Its all about cohesiveness and we had none of that with the O-line this season. That's where the whole offense starts! Shitty O-line play equals shitty offense. Learn some damn football people!

That is the thing that still kills me about 2011.
