You will be able to allow people listed on the trust to use the item.

If you get it as "you" - the item will have to be within 15 feet of you at all times when not locked up at your home. Others will not be able to use it.

Trust bypasses Sheriff also, in my part of the world, CLEO will not sign paperwork anyway.

The twist on will save you money and stamps. A Gemtech is stupid quiet on a bolt action. I don't want to post pics on here, but you can get the sig or walther in pistol and the CZ in bolt and not have to have any threading. The CZ will need a thread adapter to go form the metric pitch to the standard pitch.

Nimble,
Thanks. That's the kind of day to day, practial type info I'm looking for. From what you've said, sounds like one could easily be in violation. Let's say I plan on using the suppressed weapon on an out of town PM squirrel hunt. That AM I go on a squirrel hunt w/ a different weapon, leaving the suppressed weapon in my truck. Sounds like I might put me in violation of the 15' rule.......

How does one purchase a gun if one has a firearms trust? One article said that once one has a firearms trust, subsequent weapons would need to be purchased using the trust, not individually; unfortunately, the article didn't provide details of how to do this.

That was another question I have. I assume any muzzle threading done at the factory would work w/ the suppressor (accepting that some thread adaptors might be needed)? I've seen where Ruger has some factory threaded barrels, as well (Ruger 22/45 Lite).
