We had a lot of young guns step up in 2011 on defense that made us so good.

Claiborne, TM7, Mingo, Sam, etc.

Thats 3 sophomores and a junior that were our studs.

We have TONS of talent next year. Maybe the same thing will happen.

I just really hope Faulk stays. Our offense should be better next year even in this system. Experience should be awesome.

Hey, I'm happy to know we put the one loss brand on Bama's butt in Bryant Denny. Now we are pretty sure JJ and TM7 was smoking dope leading up to the game. If these guys would have been focusing on the game we would have played our best and had a chance to win. Not to mention Bama did not deserve to be in the NC game. I'm excited and optimistic about next year with all the great recruits we have coming in.

2011 was obviously the best team we've ever had, unfortunately that other school had arguably their best ever team as well the same year.

2012 was supposed to be our year, but bad off-field decisions and injuries again hurt the team as well as offensive struggles.

With all the underclassmen leaving, did we miss our chance? Its pretty safe to say 2013 begins a rebuilding process.

No. The window is not closed. I do not accept the excuses to lower expectations. While I don't like flipping out because the team went 6-2 in the SEC and won 10 games overall, I also don't want us to say its okay to go 4-4 and win 8 games overall.

The demand is that we compete for titles. This team competed for one, but ultimately fell just short. I think this year was a mild disappointment, but hardly a disaster. But I do not then lower expectations and say the sky is falling like some Chicken Little.

We have a ton of talent returning. The demand is to keep winning.

What is it about all the rage and frustration over 1/9/12 that you maybe missed?

Who knows, but it would appear we lost a big window, it may not be the only window though.

No it wasnt.

2011. Sr qb, game in nola, favorable sec schedule in odd years.

The season was mirror image of 03 and 07.

2012. Breaking in a new qb, playing UF, Tamu, Auburn, Arkansas all on the road. Bama at home, which we are historically worse at home against them.

Our best opportunities are the sugar bowl years. I realize we are moving to a playoff but I still expect our best shot to be in 2015-16
