Saw 6 deer, almost had a shot on two. 40 yards, shouldered my 45-70, lost em in the thicket. :(
On a side note, if I didn't see 200 ducks I didn't see one.

does this mean you did see 200 ducks or you did not see any ducks?
damn, son. that's a lot of deer to see in one day on the sherb.
i think i've spent 10-15 hunts there and never seen a deer except when scouting.
