If your favorite club didn't exist, who would you cheer for and why?

Been thinking about this. Down to a couple of clubs. Will post my answer later when I've decided.

Tough call. I'd have to say Everton or Fulham.

Juventus would most likely be my main choice.
If staying within the EPL, probably Liverpool then Man City.
Juventus because my Italian/Sicilian heritage and I am a big fan of the Italian national team and they are represented well on Juventus.
Liverpool because the tradition and history. I love the passion and I hear Merseyside is a blue-collar town somewhat similar to Detroit.
Man City because I like their uniforms and Balotelli/Mancini.

Staying in the EPL?

Michu, Fellaini, Howard.

EPL: Spurs. I don't have a really good reason. I think it came down to Liverpool and Tottenham for my original fandom.
MLS: Probably Seattle
MLS: Probably Seattle

EPL: Liverpool, I love Stevie G.
Bundesliga: Dortmund, I love the fans and it is one of the best run clubs in the world.

After careful consideration, I'd say I would be an Arsenal fan.
1. As an Auburn guy, I'm used to long stretches of trophyless play.
2. I like their style of play. It's technical and flowing. Easy on the eyes.
3. THEOOOOOOOOOO
4. I've always liked their crest and kits. Arsenal is also a freaking sweet name for a football club.
5. If United didn't exist, RvP would still be there.
6. Their policy of buying diamonds in the rough from smaller leagues is admirable. It irritates their fans from time to time when they want big names, but being a factory of turning young talent into superstars...I'd enjoy supporting that.
7. I'd have more friends on this board.
(Still thinking about MLS.)

I have no idea. I'd say probably City or Man U just because they are on TV more and that's how I found Chelsea. It's really hard to say what club I'd be supporting.

It's gutless and wasteful.

What a letdown. He'd be a star at a real club for a real manager.

I'll grant this.

5. If United didn't exist, RvP would still be there.
RvP would have gone anywhere to get out that barren wasteland. If not United it would have been somewhere/anywhere else.

This would be like dating the nerdy chick in middle school then in high school she gets hot breaks up with you and bangs the quarterback. Who would want that?

Why would want to be friends with wanks like Jumbeaux and DB10? Overall they aren't as annoying as the Liverpool fans at least, so there's that.

1. And when was the last big trophy before that? 2004.
2. Lulz. Better than RDM bus parking.
3. Like the waiter?
4. Thank you.
5. Who, then?
6. I'd eventually graduate HS.
7. I wasn't thinking about those two specifically.

Would for sure stay in the EPL, probably Pool.

Arsenal would kill for that kind of return.

GTFO the waiter is an embarrassing stop gap and nothing more. Everyday he is on the Chelsea sideline is a day of disgrace for the club.

Anyone.

6. I'd eventually graduate HS.
Arsenal fans have been thinking this for like a decade now. You'd be like the Van Wilder of high school.

I was just being a di#k with that one.
