Why is he bitter? He was treated like a god upon his arrival at LSU and his popularity continued through his last game. He is now ruining things by shooting off his mouth. He just wasn't that good of a major college football player. I am losing respect for him and Reuben Randle. The team's dirty laundry should remain within the team.

Dude. You read that as bitter because you want it to be bitter. You have this image of him all angry, sitting in his apartment stewing, and so that's how you interpret those 140 characters.
Look through his stream, and I see a pretty positive, upbeat guy who loves LSU and is looking forward to the NFL. He states he loves LSU multiple times. He's saying A&M looks good right now? Guess what - he's right.
The reality is, neither of us has any idea what he's thinking. But I'd bet that he's probably more at peace with what he's done than you are.
Having not seen his other tweets, because as I mentioned before I don't have a twitter account, perhaps I am missing some important context.
As for being at peace with our chosen directions in life, who knows. We both have done a lot of winning

after watching that no way could he have been QB at lsu
Maybe he would have had a shot if we hadn't been so stacked at QB.

Sorry, didn't mean you being at peace with your life, but with Shep's time at LSU. My point is, I get the feeling fans are more disappointed with his time here than he is.

Gotcha. I was just taken aback by the comment, it came off as bitter to me.

Then they'll realize he was the #1 dual threat QB out of high school that never threw a pass at LSU.

Wow, that's a damn shame. Very surprised. This proves he has no cred on criticism. Who else saw this dude drop at least half his passes and was the most fumble prone ball carrier since Trindon? Lost all respect for him. Miles gave him twice the shots Saban would have.

I don't know if he's bitter or not.
For my part, ever since he set foot on campus I would go to TS looking forward to seeing him play. And when he got even a reasonable amount of touches I wasn't disappointed in the product.
Now that I watched some of the YouTube clips of him throwing passes in HS I am more mesmerized than ever at how under utilized he was. This is not to suggest that he was a pro-style QB. He isn't. But why we couldn't have had a suite of zone reads, wildcats and with him having passing options is beyond me. Had our O thrived the last four years some of it may have been justified.
Wish him the best and thanks for the memories. Wished there had been more.
