He's done what Les Miles has done and nobody can stand Miles. I'm just using rant logic here.

My mind starts to get conflicted by reading the rant too much I guess.

Stoops built the program and has consistently won conference championships and dominated his primary rival, a program comparable to OU's. He's not perfect, but OU has been a top 5 program under him.

He's won about 5 more conference titles than Les Miles.

People don't dislike Miles because of the results/performance. They dislike him because he's different in personality than Saban but people are reluctant to admit it for fear of coming off as petty and shallow.

miles' biggest problem is how stubborn he is by sticking with the 3 yards and a cloud of dust philosophy. Stoops has always had an aggressive approach on offense and has embraced the spread. You can't fault stoops for being too conservative or stubborn, which is why people complain about miles. stoop's problem is he can't keep his team focused, prepared or motivated during the long layoff during bowl season.

In a system where only two teams out of 100+ have a chance to play for a championship, top coaches don't get exposed as much. Now when the playoffs start in a couple of years and the access expands to 4, then 8, then 16 as we ALL know it will, then coaches will start being held accountable for not even making it to that point.
