I think it's interesting that the ref, when making the announcement to the crowd, said that it was an unusual rule.

And I was telling all my buds about it one day. They were all like "nah, bro. That never happens" Needless to say, I gloated tonight.

Never had heard of it and I thought i knew every rule. Especially the scoring ones. I wonder how they came up with that?

First time seeing that one.

The rule is basically this: on an extra point attempt, a score that during regulation play would otherwise be ruled a touchdown is worth two points, and a score that would otherwise be ruled a field goal or a safety is worth one point.
